College Essentials: Dorm Room
Seeing how many of you enjoyed the school supply essentials for college based on my opinion, I have decided to share with you all what I found helpful in my dorm rooms and college apartment. 1. Whiteboards, Cork boards, and Magnet boards - I found each one of these to be very helpful. With the college handing out flyers, notes to remind me of upcoming things, and more I was able to stay on track by having all of my important things in one place. 2. Calendars - Having a planner is good, but with a calendar that hangs on the wall or even a whiteboard calendar is a great idea. For me, planners would get lost in my backpack and then everything I wrote would get forgotten. With a calendar on my wall, I am reminded to write things on it and look at things coming up. I also feel like calendars are a good way to see whether you are balancing school with social time. I like to write school schedules in one color, due dates in another, and social time in another.
